The Tennis Look

Wearing head to toe Monki, this was my take on Minimal Japanese look combined with tennis sort of ootd.

I feel like whenever I try to dress minimal, I tend to overdo it. For example, instead of wearing sneakers I wear boots. I never think I've achieve the minimal look I've always wanted but I gotta keep experimenting! I really admire those who dress so simple yet chic and this particular look was inspired by Rachel Bilson 2009 French Open outfit.

The Tennis Ball necklace (OMG) I thought was a really clever touch as it completes the look. I also like how the skirt add a bit of colour to her outfit. So my recent purchase was the black a line skirt from Monki which cost me only 10 Ringgit!

Rule number one when it comes to shopping; always look out for the SALE section and DEALS rack first! You'll be surprise by the amount of money you save and the interesting stuff you could purchase. Hence, I managed to pull together this look with my white tennis top tucked in the skirt, top off fedora hat and a small sized round black carry on. I must say, this entire outfit is different from what I usually wear daily. It doesn't involve as much colour or print yet it is super comfy and easy to pull off.
