#CLEOXLevis BFF PARTY

Last Wednesday, I was given an opportunity to attend a denim launch *cough cough* BFF Brunch Party organized by CLEO Magazine and Levis Malaysia. So I get to bring a plus one and that person is obviously (literally ughh) my sister whom I share most of my fashion thoughts and inspiration with; hence the "BFF". The event began at 11 am till 1 pm, located at The Breakfast Thieves, APW Bangsar,

a place which I've never actually been to and goodness what a splendid venue! EVERYTHING and EVERYWHERE is "Instagrammable" and aesthetic! Once registered, we were given "Levis Pocket Cards" to collect our Levis customizable cap and exclusive Malaysian inspired patches (quite special isn't it?). Patches can be stitched on or brought back which is cool!

The purpose of the event is to celebrate the value of friendship and of course, Levis is introducing their brand new line of jeans, 501® Skinny. "The 501® Skinny is the latest addition to the 501® Originals family. With a modern, skinny leg, this new jean is redesigned and remastered." Hell yeah! Skinny jeans are super trendy these days and its astounding that Levis has their own now.

It also comes for both gender so no need to worry.

Fun Fact : Harry Styles wears the tightest jeans among other members of One Direction. Hah!

The food is uniquely amazing! Very scrumptious and the fact that they kept refilling them non stop; had at least six Moroccan Lamb Meatballs (opps). Apart from that, tea, coffee, orange's juice and cocktail was served as refreshments. Like any other fashion parties, it is a trend to have video photo-booths for instant uploads and Movish was certainly the place to be.

OOTD? I kinda like theme parties now as I can focus on specific clothing and that I can make my decision a lot faster. Coming to the event, I knew people were going to wear their usual skinny jean, ripped jean, probably a sleeveless denim jacket or a denim top, cropped perhaps? I wanted to get away from all that. Why dress like everybody else when you can be just you am I right? My everyday motto in life when it comes to choosing the perfect outfit is to always, always be different and depending on my mood as well.

For instance, the kind of music I listen to at the moment may reflect my dressing. Anyway! This is the final look.

Upon leaving, we were given Levis shopping vouchers! (Yayyyy) My first event of 2017 went pretty well. Overall the brunch party was spectacular. I had an incredible time, especially getting to meet new people whom share the same love for fashion. I want to thank CLEO Magazine and Levis Malaysia again for the invites!
