I've thought this through and I have came out with my top 5 wardrobe essentials!
What could it be? Stripe shirt? Bowler hat? Sneakers? Pearl Necklace? Let's find out!

1. Turtleneck
Turtleneck over t-shirts? Heck yeah! Turtlenecks are super comfy and everyone needs to have it in their closet. Its better to start with neutral colours like Black or White, ergo you can style them with your choice of outer wear such as, cardigans, leather jacket, trench coat and etc. I have a ton of turtleneck shirts and my personal favourites are printed and pastel pink ones from Monki! I also love oversize turtleneck dresses as it is convenient for any sorts of occasions. Another great part about turtleneck is when doing your makeup, you don't need to apply foundation up to your neck and it speeds up your beauty routine when getting ready!

2. Coat & Jackets
I love layering my outfit and I am absolutely obsessed with long jackets! Despite Malaysia's sunny weather, Autumn / Winter is definitely my favourite season to shop. In choosing the perfect coat for my look, I prefer darker colours thereby I can match them with any vibrant top and I normally prefer turtlenecks! Wool coats are amazing and chic. Coats are classier if I'm planning on going with a sophisticated look. While jackets like denim are for simple everyday look (or just lazy) and they are more casual.

3. Hats
It took years for me to built up my confidence to actually wear a hat (and dark lip colours). When I was a kid, my parents like to style me up with adorable hats, beret and I guess it has been a part of me since I was little. I used to collect bowler hat and I remember having them in variety of colours but slowly I began to realize that black hats are easier to pull off. I prefer medium or larger size hat merely it compliments your entire outfit and it would definitely stand out! Forever 21 is the best place to nab them!

4. Backpack
Backpacks are my lifesaver! I hate carrying my gigantic and heavy handbaga around. Back then, I usually carry backpacks for concerts or festival but epiphany strikes again! *God Bless* It is super handy especially when you travel because of the small, compact size and structured material compare to those baggy drawstrings. RIP drawstrings! Most of my backpack or as I call it
"carry on" are from Monki and it retails at an affordable price. Attach them with a fluffy keychain and you're good to go!

5. Boots
Boots over sneakers? Duhhh. I want to thank my parents again for styling me with all those precious boots ever since I was a baby and it stuck with me till this day. I have a selection of boots; Creepers kind, Platforms, Chelsea Boots, Suede and the list goes on. I only have a few pair of sneakers which I generally use for vacation and classes. I purchase most of my boots from Monki (of course), H&M and Marks and Spencer. Frequently used? I would say my chunky Monki Platforms! My sister bought it too because it does give that sort of edge to our styles. Yayyy to matchy shoes!

Till then, Auf Wiedersehen!
